New Home

Picking a 'home' parlor is never easy. There's a lot of factors. It's not always $$$ that makes a girl stay.

It's the clients, the management, other girls, dress code, the building, often its the feel of just a place...

It would be silly to think that all that maters is the $$$, while I'd be lying to say it doesn't play a part, its not the end of the world. While your not necessarily going to go to a place where I'd make no money, you also need to put a value on your time...

But if your thinking long term, if your thinking 'this is somewhere I'm going to be for a while' you need to look at other factors.

Are the clients your type of clients? Not only are you in the parlor where people will like you, but also are they the people you want to be seeing? Are they going to be people you are happy to spend time in a room with? Can you connect?

The management:
Can you work as part of a team? Or are you going to have to be avoiding certain shifts?
I've worked both sides of the desk, and I know you don't get a long with everyone. But as someone who has/had problems with receptionist I know the pain of having to change my shifts because the receptionist and I weren't getting along...

The Girls:
There is a lot of down time in this industry, you can have shifts where you spent hours sitting around, just waiting and you want to know you're with girls you get along with, can trust and can talk too. Girls that you know wont pinch your food from the fridge, or your lippy from the dresser, or money from your wallet. Girls you can do bi doubles with, or just muck about over a coffee...  if your going to spend 8+ hours with these people, you had better get a long with them.

Dress Code:
I'll admit I don't have the ego or vanity of a lot of girls.. that's not to say that I don't like how I look.. Anyway.. You want somewhere you can express yourself, be comfortable and dress for the clients you want. I've never been good with lingerie, I've always found it hard to master, I'm always happier in a nice little black dress...

The Buildings:
Like the girls this is a place you're going to be spending a lot of time in and you want to feel at home, relaxed and clean. Somewhere you can be happy working in. I've never liked sterile, those places that look more like an overly clean cheap motel.

Why do I mention this? Cos as much as I like my home parlor, I need to branch out.. in need of a new play ground... So I'm on the move again.. hopefully I'll find somewhere awesome :)
